L'Ambroisie

L'Ambroisie sits under the arcades of the Place des Vosges, the oldest planned square in Paris. Its dining room, with tapestries, old stone floors and large bouquets, looks like a 17th-century private mansion.
The cooking is classic French haute cuisine at its most refined: few dishes, perfect produce and sauces of great depth. There is no tasting menu to follow, just a short à la carte selection. Expect high prices and a very traditional experience.
