L'Abysse is the sushi counter of the Pavillon Ledoyen, the historic building in the gardens of the Champs-Élysées that also houses Yannick Alléno's three-star restaurant. A Japanese sushi master works in front of a small number of guests.
The omakase menu combines traditional sushi with French produce and sauces, in a striking contemporary setting. It is an unusual meeting of two great culinary cultures, and one of the most original Japanese tables in the city.
