The best Bib Gourmand restaurants in Paris
Fourteen good-value addresses chosen from the 46 Bib Gourmand in Paris and around: classic bistros, chef-run tables, world flavours and suburban gems.

The Bib Gourmand, shown by the face of Bibendum licking his lips, is the MICHELIN Guide's way of pointing out good cooking at moderate prices. Our selection lists 46 of them in Paris and the surrounding area. Here are fourteen we especially like, grouped by the kind of meal you are looking for.
The Christian Constant school
At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, several bistros descend from the chef who founded Le Violon d'Ingres. Bistrot des Fables occupies the former Café Constant and serves calf's head and blanquette. At Rosemarie, Philippe Cadeau, fourteen years at Constant's side, sends dishes out in cast-iron cocottes. Further north, the owners of Le Savarin and of Aux 2 K also trained in his kitchens.
Chefs with a signature dish
Some addresses are worth the trip for one plate. At Le Cornichon, it is the caramelised beef tongue. At Lissit, open evenings only, the charcuterie made on site. At Le Tire-Bouchon Rodier, Marc Favier's fried chicken from the Landes. And at Épopée, which opened in 2025, Yurika Kitano's desserts, such as a Mont Blanc with kabocha squash.
The sea and Japan
Clamato, the seafood bar of the Septime team, takes no bookings: arrive early. Abri Soba, near the Grands Boulevards, specialises in buckwheat soba served hot or cold, and fills up just as quickly.
A terrace with a view
On a pedestrian street of the 18th, Fana puts the dome of the Sacré-Cœur right above your table, with a Paris-Brest worth the climb.
Just outside Paris
Some of the best value lies beyond the ring road. In Clichy, Rosette is run by a couple trained in the great Paris palaces. In Montrouge, Farouche changes its short menu about every three weeks. And in Nanterre, Cabane serves its confit pork belly under a ceiling covered in flowers.
How to make the most of a Bib Gourmand
- Lunch set menus are usually the best deal of the week.
- Many of these bistros are small: book, or arrive at opening time.
- Check opening days, since several close at weekends.
